Union isn't settling in well with the resistance movement on this alternate earth. He doesn't accept his role in the chain of command and he finds himself overwhelmed by the threat of the world's dictator, Necros. It turns out that Union and his living Justice Stone present the right kind of 'life' to combat Necros' necromantic energy. However, Union falters in his assigned role and the leader of the resistance, an illusion caster, takes the blow meant for him. Cowardice turns to triumph as Necros had expended too much of his energy, leaving him open to the death blow by the real Union. With Necros gone, Union ends up back in his own world.
